Ted Chung is a trial attorney with substantial experience representing organizations in complex civil litigation, conducting internal corporate investigations, responding to government investigations and enforcement actions, counseling clients on compliance matters, and defending white-collar criminal cases.

Ted has had a distinguished and multifaceted career in both private practice and public service, having previously served as General Counsel to Illinois Governor Pat Quinn, a partner at another major international law firm, an Assistant U.S. Attorney and a Deputy Chief (General Crimes Section) in the Criminal Division of the Chicago U.S. Attorney's Office, the First Assistant Corporation Counsel in the city of Chicago's law department, and a Deputy Chief of Staff for Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley.

Throughout his career, Ted has helped clients address some of their most complicated and sensitive problems. Ted has participated as a prosecutor, defense counsel, and legal advisor in several of the most high-profile criminal and administrative investigations in Illinois and has handled cases involving accounting irregularities, defalcations, and allegations of financial or regulatory fraud (mail/wire/bank, health care, and bankruptcy), racketeering, bribery, murder, extortion, and export violations, among other offenses.

Ted is an adjunct professor in trial advocacy at Northwestern University School of Law and writes and lectures frequently on topics related to government investigations and ethics.
